Planner, Experiential Events

Overall Responsibilities: • Supports the company’s enterprise-wide tradeshow and industry event participation, hosted in-person, virtual and experiential programs as the logistical planner supporting the experiential team strategists and event owners • Partner with integrated marketing teams to coordinate and produce a broad spectrum of experiential programs from virtual marketing activations to a suite of in-person hosted and tradeshow experiences • Guide creative and brand strategy that results in compelling experiences that inspire audiences to connect, learn and collaborate • Coordinate on-brand event and experiential marketing programs globally for all Verisk audiences, partnering and working closely with stakeholders to achieve data driven outcomes • External and Internal Experiences (Verisk-owned and Industry Events/Tradeshows) • Provide stakeholders with a balance of vision and tactics to help them meet their target audience objectives • Execute on trained-level delivery and knowledge of best practices related to global event management, design, and execution, including large-scale in-person events and virtual events (including webinars and conferences) • Plan (with strong project management skills), deliver, and analyze experiential marketing efforts • Articulate the role and goal of digital and in-person experiences • Guide approach to internal events that expand to encompass experiences that build Verisk’s culture Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related areas or equivalent work experience • 1+ years’ experience in a Marketing role or similar position • Experience in B2B – experience in software, high-tech, or performance marketing a plus • Ability to work efficiently, multi-task, and deliver commitments in a timely fashion • Strong project management skills: prioritization, planning, and organizational skills • Ability to drive results, guide cross-functional teams, influence others and foster positive collaboration • Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to effectively communicate with a diverse group of stakeholders; strong grammar and syntax skills; strong presentation skills; strong interpersonal skills • Strong attention to detail, organizational, analytical skills • Ability to travel (up to 30%), and work overtime and irregular hours as needed to support business needs • Skills • Innovative and creative thinker: pioneer who embraces bold ideas • Team player: high EQ, low ego, resourceful, frugal; treats resources as their own • “Let’s go” attitude: optimist, contagious enthusiast, sees the upside • Accountability matters: drives for results as coach and team player; bias to outcomes • Exhibits aptitude: always learning and growing; constantly attempts new experiences • Adaptable: works quickly and nimbly; able and willing to wear multiple hats without hesitation; resilient • Grit: passionate, self-directed and motivated; demonstrates endurance In addition to our Great Place to Work® Certification, we’ve been recognized by The Wall Street Journal as one of the Best-Managed Companies and by Forbes as a World’s Best Employer and Best Employer for Women, testaments to the value we place on workplace culture.
