Planner/Event Planner

Location: Franklin, TN Salary: $85,000Per Year Create exceptional experiences at a luxury hospitality property in Franklin, Tennessee. We’re seeking an experienced Senior Event Planner to oversee group meetings, retreats, and special events while delivering personalized service and seamless execution. What You’ll Do Manage events from sales turnover through execution, serving as the primary client contact. Coordinate guest room blocks, meeting spaces, food and beverage, and event services. Prepare accurate function sheets, client correspondence, and internal event documentation. Collaborate with culinary and operational teams to fulfill contractual commitments and client expectations. Recommend upgrades and additional services that enhance the guest experience. Lead planning discussions and participate in pre-convention meetings and business reviews. What You’ll Bring Three to five years of experience leading events in upscale hotels or resorts. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple complex events. Excellent communication, relationship-building, and cross-departmental collaboration skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Delphi. A four-year college degree preferred; equivalent education, training, and professional experience considered. Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) certification preferred. Schedule and Physical Requirements Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays based on event schedules. Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and push, pull, or lift up to 50 pounds. Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
