Event Coordinator World Cafe Live is seeking a full-time Event Coordinator and offers a great opportunity for an organized, creative, and motivated event and hospitality professional, to bring their dedication and enthusiasm to two unique spaces in Philadelphia, and grow with the Events team. Reporting directly to the Events Manager, the Events Coordinator will contribute to every aspect of detailing and execution in support of special events including weddings, bar/bat mitzvahs, corporate meetings, conferences, and holiday parties. A knowledgeable understanding of the catering menu and set-up styles, ability to take minutes and log information flawlessly, schedule all client event meetings as well as generate proposals, contracts and floor plans. Positive attitude, especially in challenging or high-pressure situations • Team oriented mindset, with the ability to work autonomously • Minimum of 2 years of experience in high volume event planning and management • Experience in hospitality catering preferred • Extremely efficient administrative skills • Well versed in office software, and quick to learn and navigate new platforms • Ability to become an integral part of the process of increasing Events revenue.
