Location: Houston, TX Job Type: Full-Time Casa Kenji is seeking a highly organized, entrepreneurial, and hospitality-driven Private Event Manager to build and manage our private events program. This role is responsible not only for coordinating and executing events, but also for developing the systems, standards, and processes that support a successful private dining program. Key Responsibilities • Develop and implement the restaurant’s private events program, including systems, procedures, and operational standards • Establish structured workflows for event inquiries, proposals, contracts, planning, and execution • Serve as the primary point of contact for guests from initial inquiry through event completion • Respond promptly to inquiries, manage event leads, and maintain consistent follow-up with prospective clients • Collaborate with culinary and bar leadership to develop standardized event menus and beverage offerings • Manage the venue’s event management platform, including menus, packages, add-ons, minimums, and event templates • Create and maintain event documentation including proposals, contracts, planning questionnaires, and event orders • Maintain organized records of inquiries, bookings, client communications, and event history • Conduct site tours and guide clients through the event planning process • Coordinate event logistics including guest count, layouts, menus, beverage service, and event timing • Prepare detailed event orders and clearly communicate finalized event details with management and service teams • Provide regular updates to leadership and departments regarding upcoming events • Assist with event setup coordination and support service teams during events when necessary • Implement processes for collecting post-event feedback and maintaining relationships with past clients • Build and maintain relationships with outside vendors and event partners • Work with leadership to monitor booking performance, event trends, and program growth • Continuously improve event systems and procedures to increase efficiency and guest satisfaction What We Offer • Opportunity to build and shape the private events program at Casa Kenji • A structured and professional hospitality environment • Direct collaboration with restaurant leadership • Hands-on experience coordinating high-quality private dining events • Supportive leadership and clear expectations
