Private Events Sales Manager

Location - Boston, MA Salary $75K + Commission Benefits - MDV, Private Club in search of an Events Manager who is passionate aboutsales, events planning and execution and hospitality Qualifications At least five (5) years of experience in catering sales in a private club or related industry- Demonstrated knowledge of event operations- Startup/opening of hotels and restaurants experience preferred- Service oriented style with professional presentations skills- Results-driven leader who is fearless about execution, is creative, can champion a visionand roadmap, and is not afraid to dig into the details Responsibilities Ability to travel to meet with or call members and member referrals by telephone to solicit annual, week day and weekend business- Assist clients in planning and executing meetings and celebrations at - Execute event planning and detailing for booked events Coordinate vendors (e.g. floral, entertainment, d cor, A/V, etc. ), to provide completemember satisfaction
