The Program Events Coordinator collaborates directly with Future Front’s team to produce digital and in-person events within Future Front’s five core programs at the organization’s headquarters and partner venues in Austin, Texas. This role reports to the Executive Director. This position’s day-to-day tasks and roles include administrative, curatorial, planning and production work around events, like: • Coordinating, producing and leading events onsite as a representative of Future Front two to four times per month, supporting program participants, supervising volunteers and interacting with public visitors • Preparing project management schedules, onsite runs of show, public listings and visitor registration for events with Future Front’s upcoming season of programs daily • Collaborating with team members and program participants weekly to distribute postmortems, surveys and recaps following events to ensure Future Front’s mission and values are reflected and improved upon • Utilizing inclusive and collaborative communication daily with program participants, venues, team members, staff and volunteers daily, ensuring event needs are met, conflicts are resolved and expectations are clear • Collaborating with Future Front’s Executive Director and curatorial teams to book staff, volunteers and program participants for seasonal exhibition and commission opportunities within events for Future Front’s programs, including The Future Front House, The Front Festival, The Front Market, Future Front’s fundraisers and more • Attending weekly planning meetings and updating open programs’ seasonal and annual timelines, documentation and basic budgets accordingly • Publicly representing Future Front—both in-person and digitally—for select program press opportunities, program tours and other moments of stakeholder communication in which the organization’s story, mission, vision and programs need to be accurately reflected • Gathering information and contributing to policy, inclusivity measures and operations updates, during quarterly visioning meetings alongside Future Front’s team Role Qualifications— This role is full-time at 40 hours per week, requiring 28 hours onsite per week at Future Front Texas’ headquarters or partner venues in Central and East Austin.
