Manages the day-to-day operations of a small or medium-sized university program or department. Plans and develops procedures for administering a small or medium-sized department or program. Knowledge of the discipline is normally obtained through a formal, directly job-related 4 year degree from a college or university or an equivalent in-depth specialized training program that is directly related to the type of work being performed. • Marketing and Communications - manages social media and department website content creation, deployment, and engagement; interviews, writes, edits, and disseminates news releases and other articles to highlight faculty, staff, student, alumni and employer and achievements, and department events and programs; develop graphic designs for electronic and print media. • Other duties as assigned.
