Programs & Events Coordinator

An employee in this position is responsible for the coordination of planning and managing events, as well as recreational programs. A Bachelor’s degree is required in Parks/Recreation/Event Management, Marketing or Public Relations, or a related field, and a minimum of five years of related experience is preferred. • Contacts are typically to exchange information that supports the provision of the programs and events, coordinate needs with the recreation department, and relay information internally to enable the county to assist in the promotion of programs and events. • Knowledge of the Principles of Program and Event Coordination. Bachelor’s degree required in Parks/Recreation/Event Management, Marketing or Public Relation or a related field, and a minimum of five years of related experience preferred.
