Programs Events Team Member

Programs Events Team Members may be assigned to work evening Museum events and facility rentals. • Greet and assist museum guests, answering questions and providing information about exhibits, and day-to-day operations and services available during evening events • Assist with set up and tear down of events • Operate and monitor interactive exhibits, ensuring they are safe, clean, and functional, reporting maintenance needs to the Programs Team Supervisor or Programs Facilitation Manager • Maintain physical appearance of museum by keeping areas clean and organized • Facilitate activities or science demonstrations • Be comfortable with learning the various science concepts associated with the exhibits and sharing that information with guests • Encourage guest interactions with exhibits and activities through open-ended questions and hands-on support • Assist with crowd control, program logistics, and exhibit resets as needed • Support evening museum-wide events, facility, and special programs • Support additional museum initiatives as assigned to spark curiosity and promote discovery learning experience during evening programs The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
