The individual will be responsible for coordinating the logistical details of internal DOL agency program events and some events involving the Commissioner. This will involve overseeing, coordinating and managing events, hosted by the Department of Labor, which will always have the potential to involve the Commissioner and Executive Staff. This will include working with internal and external stakeholders to establish the event location, set up, schedule, address technical needs and any other details. The events may include aspects of press conferences, off-site tours, ceremonies, departmental initiatives and other events, such as large-scale staff development and training experiences for DOL staff. Oversee, coordinate and manage internal NYS Department of Labor event facilitation, including but not limited to large offsite conferences and training events.
