For garden-hosted events, this position will manage existing and new revenue-generating events including: determining layout, logistics, and agenda; arranging for speakers; making travel arrangements; providing communication and marketing; assisting with solicitation of sponsors, vendors, and in-kind donations; preparing and assessing budgets and evaluations; reconciling and preparing revenue/expense reports; securing and processing payments. In addition, this position will also help the Garden promote and market the Gardens (by designing and developing promotional materials, including website and social media updates, brochures, advertisements, banners, newsletters, and other outreach information); manage student/temp employees hired to assist this position; manage the membership program and commemorative brick program. Position requires software specific to the operational activities would include the software use for processing payments. Design skills in Publisher, Canva, or other similar software.
