Job Title: Receptionist & Special Events Assistant Location: Pensacola Humane Society Reports To: Vice President of Programs Hours: [15–25 hours/week], including some evenings and weekends The Part-Time Receptionist & Special Events Assistant is a dual-role team member responsible for providing excellent customer service at the front desk and supporting the planning and execution of special events. This position requires strong communication skills, a love for animals, and the ability to work well with the public and volunteers in a fast-paced environment. Qualifications: • High school diploma or equivalent; some college preferred • Previous experience in reception, customer service, or event support (nonprofit or shelter experience a plus) • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills • Comfortable working around animals of all sizes • Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic computer skills • Ability to multitask, stay calm under pressure, and work both independently and as part of a team • Must be available for occasional evenings and weekends for events Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
