Recreation Event Coordinator

This role is responsible for managing the operations of and assisting with the overseeing, management, planning, organizing, and implementation of special events, community events, cultural events, and community outreach. The incumbent will work under the supervision of the Recreation Operations Manager. Plans, directs and implements a varied program of parks and recreation activities and services, special events, community events, cultural events, and community outreach to meet the needs of the public. Participates in developing the budget for special events; revenue collection/deposits and compiling event billing. Handle and process all Special Event Applications for Rockdale County Parks & Recreation.
