The Admissions Office functions on a management team concept with the Chief Admissions Officer as head of the team, with each member carrying full responsibility for their defined area. Provides recruitment support to the Admissions Office through planning and implementing recruiting events, individual and group campus visit experiences, and the Recruitment Team program under the supervision of the Director of Admissions. • Organize event details, programming, and project management • Make sure all information is accurate and available on the Johnson website in a timely fashion • Recruit volunteers for events and workshops, including a Creative Team for event content and activities • Coordinate student hosts for campus events • Facilitate and conduct group campus tours • Market events to our target market and increase attendance to boost recruits • Events include: Royal Welcome Summer Orientation, Genesis Weekend, Preview Days, Recruitment Team retreat and Summer send-off, youth group visits, and other scheduled events pertaining to the Enrollment Services department • Develop Admissions social media presence by working closely with Johnson University’s Chief of Communications office. • Cultivate a general understanding of the history, mission, and purpose of Johnson University • Work with other Admissions team members to facilitate events on and off campus • Oversee the Welcome Center and make sure the room is stocked and prepared for excellence in hospitality. Further, as a Christian ministry, the University retains the right to select those who serve in ministerial positions, as that term has been defined by the courts in the context of the First Amendment to the United States Constitution, based on criteria established by the University without regard to Title VII, Title IX, or any other federal, state, or local law governing the employment relationship
