Bachelor’s degree required in Parks/Recreation/Event Management, Marketing or Public Relations or a related field, and a minimum of five years of related experience preferred. Guidelines consist of the Policies and Procedures of the county and of the Parks Recreation and Events Department, as well as instructions from Park Operations Manager. The work of this position is to facilitate rental agreements and coordinating paperwork for rental events occurring at all Columbia County Parks. Contacts are typically to exchange information that supports provision of special rental event services, coordinate rental needs with the recreation department, and relay information internally to enable the county to assist in promotion of rental events.
