Restaurant Event Coordinator

You will be responsible for every aspect of an event, from menu planning to evaluating success during and afterwards an event. An event coordinator must be well-organized and competent in daily restaurant operations. Salary + commission on all events. Location does around 2 million in event sales. Responsibilities • Understand requirements for each event • Plan event with attention to financial and time constraints • Manage all event operations • Oversee event happenings and act quickly to resolve problems • Evaluate event’s success and submit reports Skills • Great attitude • Ability to prioritize tasks • Ability to cross-train • Customer service oriented • Maintain an accurate and detailed calendar of events • Flexible scheduling is essential to provide exceptional customer service • Deadline and detail-oriented • Proven experience as event coordinator • A track record of organizing successful events • Outstanding communication ability • Well-organized with multi-tasking skills • Able to handle stress and remain calm • Problem-solving ability • Outgoing personality and friendly demeanor, comfortable interacting with clients, great at building relationships with guests, clients, and vendors • Comfortable being in fast paced environment, the ability to take initiative and juggle multiple projects, works well under pressure • Strong organizational/time management skills • Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills • Must be a strong team player but also know how to work independently • Must be pro-active, responsive and punctual • 2+ years of experience in Hospitality/Catering/Event Coordination Benefit Conditions: • Only full-time employees eligible Work Remotely • No
