Michaels strives to cultivate a positive workplace atmosphere, requiring team members to interact respectfully and embody the company’s vision and values at all times. • High school diploma or equivalent • Retail and/or customer service experience • Experience working with children and children’s events • Excellent communication skills including written, verbal, and listening skills • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills • Creative problem-solving skills • Ability to handle job stress and interact effectively with others • Ability to remain standing for long periods • Ability to move throughout the store • Regular bending, lifting, carrying, reaching, and stretching • Ability to lift heavy boxes and access high shelves using ladder or equipment • Willingness to work nights, weekends, and early mornings • Ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodations
