AVI Event Services is seeking a highly motivated and passionate Sales / Business Development team member who can develop new client prospects in the live meetings and events industry. The person who is awarded the position with AVI Event Services will further develop existing relationships, as well as develop new prospective regional and national clients, in addition to those that have prior industry experience with you. New prospective clients will have a need for audio visual, lighting or LED equipment, services and support who are involved in regional or national meetings and events. Prime Responsibilities: • Belief, practice and experience in building long-standing relationships with corporations and individuals in the meetings and events industry via personal & social interaction • Acquire new business with accounts that are not currently doing business with, or not previously done business with AVI Event Services • Create strategies to win new business from both new as well existing customers • Identify new sales opportunities by calling customers, customer visits, networking, and referrals • Work independently and be motivated to win business everyday • Expand and maintain CRM to build long-term client relationships Talents Needed: • Professionalism • Strong Communication Skills • Tenacious • Understanding of Meeting & Event Business • Results Oriented • Excellent Customer Service • Loves to win
