Sales and Catering Manager

Multi-unit hospitality company is seeking a Sales and Catering Manager. Candidates should possess a minimum of 3 years’ experience in selling, booking, planning and coordinating, private, social and corporate events all while providing impeccable customer service and professional sales techniques. Responsibilities • Answer phones and email inquiries, confirm bookings and reservations, using and managing various event software. • Develop, meet and or exceed event sales revenue goals and expectations • Write event proposals and contracts • Conduct site visits, meet with clients and event planners in person and virtual • Communicate directly with team members on event and reservation specifics • Maintain data base of customers information and continual follow up • Develop sales leads and follow through with referrals • Work with team on event menus and pricing • Help to build and maintain our social media strategy and presence • Willingness to work in multiple venues and function at multiple venues simultaneously Qualifications • Computer skills required: Microsoft Suite, Aloha, OpenTable, Tripleseat • Flexible Schedule • College or Hospitality School preferred but not required. • Friendly, professional and kind demeanor • Salary and benefit package commensurate with experience.
