Sales and Events Coordinator

We are the largest company supplying North America and Europe with authentically milled and heat treated yakisugi, controlling the entire manufacturing process from our forests in Japan to your walls. Working out of our Portland office, this role directly supports the Sales Manager and Account Representatives by managing industry event logistics, coordinating educational seminars, and executing proactive outreach. Presentation Scheduling: Proactively reach out to architecture and design (A&D) firms to schedule Continuing Education Units (CEU) and Lunch & Learn presentations.Travel Logistics: Coordinate and book travel accommodations for account representatives traveling out of their immediate territories to conduct these educational courses.Platform Management: Administer registrations, attendance logs, and certificate distributions through industry education platforms (e.g., AIA Provider network).Catering & Materials: Arrange food delivery and prepare physical sample packages for all scheduled educational events.Sales Support & CRM Administration Associate's or Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business administration, or a related field (equivalent professional work experience will be considered in lieu of a degree).2+ years of experience in event planning, trade show coordination, or sales support (experience in building materials or the A&D industry is a major plus).Proven experience utilizing Odoo CRM or similar platforms for sales tracking and pipeline management.Exceptional verbal and written communication skills for professional B2B outreach.Highly organized regarding timelines, spreadsheets, and multi-tasking under tight deadlines.Comfortable with an onsite office routine and able to travel up to 15% for trade shows and regional events. Regularly stand, sit, talk, hear, reach, stoop, kneel, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer, telephone, keyboard, and other office equipment.Be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time
