Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Sales and Events Manager to lead our event planning, sales initiatives, and customer engagement efforts. Your enthusiasm and organizational prowess will ensure the seamless execution of all events while maximizing upselling opportunities. Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to attract new clients and retain existing ones, focusing on maximizing revenue through upselling and cross-selling techniques Plan, coordinate, and execute a wide range of events including banquets, conferences, weddings, corporate gatherings, and fundraising activities Manage all aspects of event marketing campaigns to promote upcoming events and special offers across various channels Negotiate contracts with clients, vendors, caterers, and venue partners to ensure favorable terms while maintaining high-quality standards Oversee budgeting for events, ensuring cost control without compromising guest experience or service quality Provide exceptional guest services by addressing client needs promptly and ensuring smooth event operations from start to finish Collaborate closely with catering teams, banquet staff, and hotel or restaurant personnel to deliver flawless event experiences Maintain detailed records of contracts, client communications, event logistics, and post-event feedback to inform continuous improvement Manage time effectively to juggle multiple events simultaneously while meeting deadlines and exceeding client expectations Proven experience in event management within hospitality settings such as hotels, family fun centers, restaurants, or banquet facilities Strong negotiation skills with the ability to secure favorable contracts and vendor agreements Excellent marketing acumen with knowledge of event marketing strategies to boost visibility and attendance Demonstrated ability in upselling additional services or products to enhance revenue streams Exceptional organizational skills with keen attention to detail in planning and executing events Outstanding communication skills for liaising with clients, vendors, team members, and guests Experience in budgeting and financial management related to event planning Knowledge of catering operations, banquet procedures, and guest services standards Familiarity with hotel or restaurant operations is highly desirable Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently in a fast-paced environment
