Role Description The Sales and Events Marketing Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Ann Arbor, MI. This role focuses on engaging customers and prospects, managing sales activities, and supporting marketing initiatives around wrestling events and trade shows. Day-to-day responsibilities include communicating with teams, dealers, schools, and organizations, coordinating event logistics, promoting products, and following up on leads generated through events and campaigns. The Specialist will support sales planning, assist with customer orders, provide product information and training to partners, and help maintain strong relationships with key accounts. Collaboration with internal teams on marketing materials, event schedules, and promotional strategies is a central part of this position.

Qualifications

Candidates should possess strong Communication and Customer Service skills to interact effectively with teams, officials, and partners.Candidates should possess solid Sales and Sales Management skills to drive revenue, manage pipelines, and support account growth.Candidates should possess Training and presentation skills to educate customers and event partners on products and brand offerings.Relevant experience in sports, athletics, or event marketing, especially within wrestling or team sports, is beneficial.Ability to work on-site in Ann Arbor, MI, including occasional evenings or weekends for events, and to travel regionally as needed.Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and proficiency with common office and CRM software are preferred.Associate or bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Sports Management, or a related field, or equivalent experience, is advantageous.
