Rain Travel Collection is a boutique hotel portfolio based in Ocean Springs, Mississippi. We operate five curated properties along the Gulf Coast — each with its own personality, all held to the same standard of elevated, intentional hospitality. Gulf Hills Hotel & Resort is one of the most sought-after event venues on the Gulf Coast — a 57-room resort with a grand ballroom, a Sunset Lounge, a pool lawn, and a calendar full of weddings, festivals, corporate retreats, and celebrations that keep us busy year-round.

We are looking for a Sales & Events Coordinator to join our team.
This role sits at the intersection of sales and events — you will be supporting our Director of Sales in managing the event pipeline and helping bring those events to life from the moment a contract is signed through the last guest out the door. Some days that looks like answering inquiries, preparing proposals, and following up with prospective clients. Other days it looks like being on-site at 7AM making sure the ballroom is set, the vendors are where they need to be, and the client never has to worry about a thing.

What you will be doing:

Supporting the sales process — responding to inquiries, preparing proposals, coordinating site visits, and following up with prospective clientsManaging event details from signed contract through event day — communicating with clients, coordinating vendors, confirming timelines, and making sure nothing falls throughBeing present on event day — on-site from setup through breakdown, serving as the point of contact for clients, vendors, and the property teamKeeping our event management system clean and current — every lead, every note, every next step loggedStepping in to manage the sales inbox and pipeline when the Director of Sales is unavailableWhat we are looking for:

Someone who genuinely enjoys events and hospitality — the energy of a busy event weekend should excite you, not wear you outOrganized and detail-oriented — you are the person who notices what is missing before anyone else doesA confident, warm communicator — with clients, with vendors, and with the teamFlexible — this role includes evenings, weekends, and the occasional holiday. Events do not happen Monday through Friday at 9AM.At least 1 year of experience in events, hospitality, or a client-facing role preferred, but we are open to the right person with the right attitudeWhat we offer:
