Job Description Position Summary • Responsible for promoting, booking and executing all private, semi-private and offsite events • Efficiently respond to all online and telephone inquiries in a professional and friendly manner • Remain calm and composed in high pressure situations and strong with multi-tasking • Must be presentable and professionally dressed when meeting clients and representing the company • Liaison between other departments and the client to provide the service most suitable to the client’s needs, budget and time constraints • Work closely with the Sales & Events team to assess the progress of the department and develop sales strategies accordingly • Will take part in the alliance with the Marketing department to drive organic business and event sales • Required to generate progress reports within the department and outline any developed strategies to improve • May be responsible for overseeing any supercharges and evaluating any alterations to both external and internal staff • Create and maintain relationships with local companies, restaurants, event vendors, and hotel teams • Create and maintain relationships with other Sales & Events Managers in the surrounding area within the hospitality industry • Must meet sales goals, outreach goals, and performance goals set by the Director of Sales • Must attend multiple evening networking events each quarter as a representative of the company Qualifications • 2-3 years minimum of event sales and coordination experience • Working knowledge of the Denver market • Ability to gain and maintain all client relationships • Organized and possess a high level of administrative ability to effectively manage paperwork • Prior experience working in hospitality (restaurant, event venue or hotel) is preferred • Must be fluent in English and possess strong communication skills, as liaison with clients and colleagues is a large focus within the position • Due to the volume of communication that will be required with the client, the Sales & Events Manager must possess excellent customer service skills • Proficient in Microsoft Office • Must be willing to work evenings and weekends as needed based on events • Ability to negotiate, influence and sell prospective clients • Experience using the TripleSeat platform or similar CRM is required Benefits • Annual salary (based on experience) plus uncapped commission • Health, Eye and Dental Insurance • Paid time off Job Type: Full-time
