Summary: The purpose of the Sales Event Coordinator position is to provide administrative and general support to the sales department in a variety of activities; act as the primary contact for all meeting and banquet related functions, provide reservation support if needed (for group room lists, etc). Be able to conduct business as usual in the absence of the DOS. Contract meeting room via BEO; create diagram for room set up (if needed); manage details the day of meeting. Assists the client in menu planning; coordinates food, beverage, meeting room set-up, decorations and other services as requested by the client; assures that all requirements are communicated and completed to the clients specifications. Provide reservation support if needed (for group and LNR clients).
