Special Event Assistants will assist Schottenstein Center Event Management staff with overall planning, setup, coordination and execution of events. Responsibilities include: setting up and tearing down all event equipment (such as metal detectors, signage, stanchions, and other needs); managing inventory and repairs of equipment, staff uniforms, and other department assets; assisting with radio dispatch duties during events; responding to emergency situations (medical and security) during events and may assist in the collection of information for incident reports; assisting with coordination and tracking of part-time event staff training; support part-time event staff with scheduling website needs; other duties and projects as assigned.
