About SCORE Raleigh
SCORE Raleigh is a volunteer-led chapter of SCORE, a nonprofit resource partner of the U.S. Small Business Administration. We provide free mentoring and education to entrepreneurs across North Carolina. Our volunteers serve as certified mentors and also lead a part of the chapter, so every member has ownership in how it runs.
What you will do
Mentor small business owners as a certified SCORE mentorPlan chapter events from objectives, timeline, and approved budget through post-event reviewResearch venues and vendors, and coordinate registration, logistics, and virtual setupAttend monthly chapter meetings and events team meetingsWork with the Chapter Support TeamWho fits
Experience starting, running, or advising a small business in the United StatesEvent planning, operations, hospitality, or logistics experienceStrong vendor coordination and attention to detailAvailability for occasional evening or weekend eventsWillingness to serve at least 12 months
