Responsibilities: • Manage the Request for Proposal (RFP) process for event production and technology vendors, including budget analysis and preparation, template development, timeline with key milestones, reviewing proposals, and negotiating with vendors, considering current market conditions and scope • Design and implement high caliber set design and production strategies in collaboration with firm approved vendors for leadership and signature programs • Travel to conference sites to oversee onsite production, including vendor coordination, rehearsals, and speaker support; advise stakeholders and planners on AV production strategies for hybrid events; supervise resources and project timelines associated with aligned programs • Participate in the collection or creation of all production assets such as video projects and presentations; engage in production and event technology vendor management • Facilitate post-event debriefs with stakeholders and vendors to collect and consolidate feedback, successes, and challenges, as well as to close out the event, review invoices, and process payments • Foster relationships with stakeholders and across multiple internal departments including technology and creative services; research and implement new event technologies, as well as the necessary resources to utilize them Qualifications: • Minimum three years of recent experience in event production for complex, high-caliber programs, or equivalent relevant work experience • High School diploma or equivalent degree required • Cvent knowledge and event planning experience preferred • Virtual and hybrid event technology experience; understanding of streaming technologies and event registration tools a plus; proficient with Microsoft Office Suite applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook • Strong project management skills; capability to manage multiple competing priorities effectively; excellent verbal/written communication, with the ability to effectively interact with individuals at all levels of responsibility and authority; must be able to lead and support an environment driven by client focus and team work • Ability to travel up to 30% Additional details about our benefits can be found towards the bottom of our KPMG US Careers site at “Benefits & How We Work”.
