About the Role Our client is seeking a highly organized and creative Senior Catering Event Planner to join their dynamic team in Seattle, Washington . You will be responsible for managing client relationships, developing unique event concepts, and ensuring seamless execution from initial planning stages through to event completion. Key Responsibilities Manage all aspects of event planning for assigned catering clients, ensuring a personalized and memorable experience. Develop creative event themes, d cor concepts, and customized menus in collaboration with clients and the culinary team. Oversee event budgets, negotiate with vendors, and manage contracts to ensure profitability and client satisfaction. Coordinate with kitchen staff, service teams, and external vendors to ensure seamless event setup, execution, and breakdown. Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the planning process and during the event itself. Conduct post-event evaluations and solicit client feedback to identify areas for continuous improvement. Requirements Minimum of 4 years of experience in event planning, preferably with a focus on catering. Demonstrated success in managing multiple events concurrently, from conception to completion. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in event management software and Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, balancing office-based tasks with on-site event management. A strong understanding of event trends, culinary arts, and beverage service.
