Senior Event Catering Planner

Responsibilities: Plan and execute all aspects of catered events, ensuring client satisfaction. Develop customized menus and beverage packages based on client needs and preferences. Source, select, and manage relationships with catering vendors and suppliers. Create detailed event timelines, floor plans, and staffing schedules. Oversee on-site event operations, ensuring smooth execution and adherence to standards. Manage event budgets and ensure profitability for all catered functions. Conduct client tastings and pre-event meetings to finalize details. Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation regulations. Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during events efficiently. Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in food, beverage, and event planning. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Event Planning, or a related field. Minimum of 6 years of experience in event planning or catering coordination, with a focus on food and beverage. Demonstrated success in planning and managing complex catered events. Strong knowledge of culinary arts, wine and spirits, and current catering trends. Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills. Exceptional organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Proficiency in event management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
