Senior Event Manager

The Senior Event Manager is a leadership role responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing all aspects of event management to ensure seamless operations and high client satisfaction. Reporting to the Director of Events, this position acts as a key liaison between internal and external stakeholders, overseeing event logistical systems from initial planning to post-event evaluations.

Manager supervises event managers ensuring high standards in coordinating event setup logistics, customer service, and compliance with the General Operating Policies. This role emphasizes operational efficiency through training on and implementation of essential event software such as Microsoft Teams, Cvent, and Momentus.

Manager has the authority to make operational decisions on behalf of the Event Management Team to maintain event quality and address on-the-spot challenges. This role requires an expert ability to analyze challenges, propose solutions, and implement effective strategies that align with organizational goals.

RESPONSIBILITIES Manage and oversee the planning, servicing, and supervision of large-scale events. Manage the creation of detailed event documentation, including staffing requirements and logistical plans using industry-standard tools such as Cvent, Momentus, and Microsoft Teams, ensuring efficient and proper training on these platforms. Maintain decision-making authority for the Event Management Team, ensuring timely and effective resolution of event-related issues.

Serve as Manager on Duty (MOD) as needed, ensuring all event policies and client expectations are met. Oversee the preparation and distribution of comprehensive event documentation, including floor plans and setup requirements, ensuring compliance with safety standards and client specifications. Collaborate closely with the Director of Events and other departments for resource coordination and alignment with broader event strategies.
