Event Planning Role Overview : The Event Coordinator position requires strategic planning and execution of public and athletic events, seminars, conferences, and services for campus and/or community organizations. This involves arranging various aspects of events such as confirming conference room reservations, technical requirements, parking, staffing or other services. Main Responsibilities: Schedule and coordinate events, manage event logistics, and ensure smooth event execution. Key Requirements: Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field AND two years of facility and/or services administration and coordination experience. Desirable Skills: Knowledge of scheduling software, contract management, supervisory practices, public relations, complaint handling, organization, and effective communication skills.
