Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Oakland, CA, for a Senior Event Planner. The Senior Event Planner will oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of events from start to finish. Key responsibilities include liaising with clients to understand their needs, creating detailed event plans and budgets, managing logistics, and collaborating with vendors and team members to ensure successful event delivery. This role also involves identifying business opportunities, negotiating contracts, and ensuring memorable experiences for clients and their guests.

Qualifications

Strong expertise in Event Planning, Event Management, and coordinating all aspects of eventsProficiency in Budgeting and cost management to ensure financial efficiencyExcellent Communication skills, including client communication and interpersonal abilitiesSales skills, including client acquisition and contract negotiationA keen eye for detail, problem-solving abilities, and ability to work in a fast-paced environmentProficiency in event planning software and tools is beneficialBachelor's degree in Event Management, Hospitality, or a related field is preferredPrior experience in high-volume, high-profile events is a plus
