SENIOR EVENT PLANNER

As a Senior Event Planner, you will be responsible for producing both internal and external events for Virginia Housing from conception through to completion. Your ability to oversee collaborative event planning will be crucial, as you will coordinate various aspects such as venue selection, food and beverage arrangements, travel logistics, insurance, audio/visual needs, registration, invoicing, and billing. A minimum of five years of experience in event planning is preferred, with a proven track record of managing events ranging from small gatherings of 10-50 people to large-scale events of 500+ attendees. Excellent time management and communication skills are also required, as is proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite and comfort with new technologies and digital tools. , • 5+ years of experience in event planning.
