This is an opportunity for an experienced event professional to work directly with the founder to create exceptional celebrations and milestone events throughout the San Francisco Bay Area. Location RequirementsCandidates must currently reside in the San Francisco Bay Area.This role requires regular in-person meetings, venue visits, vendor coordination, event walkthroughs, and on-site event execution throughout the Bay Area.This role is intended for candidates who currently reside in the San Francisco Bay Area and can regularly participate in in-person meetings, venue visits, and event execution activities.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the end-to-end planning and execution of milestone celebrations, including graduations, birthdays, wedding anniversaries, family gatherings, and themed events.Develop event concepts, themes, budgets, timelines, and execution plans.Coordinate with venues, decorators, caterers, entertainers, photographers, production teams, and other event partners.Manage event logistics, including setup, guest experience, event flow, transportation, scheduling, and post-event wrap-up.Source, negotiate, and manage relationships with vendors and service providers.Monitor budgets and expenses while maintaining high standards of quality and execution.Anticipate challenges and proactively resolve issues to ensure seamless event delivery.Lead on-site event operations and coordinate vendors, contractors, and support teams.Establish and maintain event planning processes, checklists, and operational best practices.Ensure every event reflects exceptional attention to detail, creativity, and professionalism.Required Qualifications5–7 years of experience in event planning, event production, hospitality, or a related field.Demonstrated success in organizing memorable celebrations such as graduations, birthdays, anniversaries, weddings, or other special events.Experience working independently or leading event teams within a reputable event management company.Demonstrated ability to independently manage events from planning through execution with minimal supervision.Strong project management and organizational skills.Excellent communication and coordination abilities.Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously.Experience managing event budgets, vendor relationships, and event logistics.Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.Willingness to work evenings and weekends as required by event schedules.Preferred BackgroundWe are particularly interested in candidates who have: What Makes You Successful in This RoleYou take complete ownership and accountability for every event.You have a passion for creating memorable experiences and meaningful celebrations.You are highly organized and detail-oriented.You remain resourceful and composed when unexpected challenges arise.You excel at coordinating people, timelines, and logistics.You combine creativity with operational excellence.Why Join This OpportunityCreate meaningful, memorable experiences that celebrate life’s most important milestones.Lead events from concept to completion with significant ownership and autonomy.Collaborate with a network of talented vendors, partners, and event professionals.Help establish and refine event planning processes and execution standards.Bring creativity, leadership, and operational excellence to every event.Work closely with the founder to shape how exceptional event experiences are planned and delivered.Additional InformationCompensation will be commensurate with experience, skills, and qualifications.
