Senior Event Producer, College of Engineering

The position will develop events that engage stakeholders and meet the strategic needs of the college. The position uses event production best practices and design principles to provide a quality, branded experience for our stakeholders. The work of the position will support all areas of the college in conjunction with the strategic priorities of the College of Engineering. Required Qualifications: • Ability to work effectively as part of a dynamic team in a large, complex research university • Ability to work independently, while maintaining consistent and transparent communication with a team and leadership • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Strong organizational and analytical skills, with great attention to detail • Self-motivated and self-starting • Good listener • Optimism, perseverance and a positive attitude • Ability to travel and/or to work evenings and weekends as required • Computer literacy • Knowledge of principles and best practices in event planning • Volunteer management experience • Familiarity with NC State University and the Triangle
