****Sr. Manager, Event Sales****
**Job Disclosures:**

**Compensation:** The base salary range for this position is $105,960-$119,205. "Off-scale salaries" and other components of pay, i.e., a salary that is higher than the published system-wide salary at the designated grade, are offered when necessary to meet competitive conditions.
**Job Summary:**
The Senior Event Sales Manager reports to the Regional Director of Private Events and is responsible for selling and developing large-scale private events for entertainment industry clients, including film and television studios, streamers, networks, music labels, talent and management agencies, and major consumer brands. The Senior Event Sales Manager will collaborate with internal and external partners to provide sales tools, marketing materials, resources, metrics and analysis in order to drive occupancy, revenue and achieve strategic goals. This role serves as a key member of the Marketing and Sales Team, interfacing with stakeholders and multiple internal and external partners.
**Key Responsibilities:**
**Private Event Sales & Revenue Generation**
* Drive large-scale private event bookings to meet or exceed revenue goals for Meow Wolf Los Angeles.
* Identify and develop new sales opportunities within the entertainment industry, including premieres, wrap parties, launch and release events, awards season activations, brand activations, and corporate celebrations.
* Build and maintain relationships with high-value clients, decision-makers, and event producers at studios, streamers, networks, music labels, talent and management agencies, and major brands to drive repeat business and referrals.
* Partner with leadership to create exclusive private event offerings and add-ons tailored to entertainment industry clientele.
* Proactively solicit, secure, and manage private event bookings to optimize space utilization and maximize revenue.
* Follow proper booking procedures to create equitable, clear contracts, event orders, and invoices.
* Independently prioritizes sales opportunities and allocates resources to maximize revenue growth.
* Develops and implements strategic sales initiatives to increase revenue and market share.
**Sales Strategy & Collaboration**
* Work closely with internal teams, including Operations, Marketing, and Events, to deliver seamless private event experiences.
* Collaborate with the Regional Director of Private Events to develop strategic initiatives that grow the private event business.
* Ensure all sales efforts align with Meow Wolf's brand standards and exceed client expectations.
* Utilize CRM tools (e.g., TripleSeat) to manage leads, track progress, and generate performance reports.
* Provide regular analysis of sales trends, opportunities, and pipeline activity to inform strategic decision-making.
* Work with internal partners to create add-on experiences to drive revenue and satisfy market demands.
**Client Relationship Management**
* Act as the primary point of contact for private event clients, providing exceptional service throughout the sales and event planning process.
* Conduct site tours and presentations to showcase event spaces and offerings to prospective clients.
* Manage contracts, invoicing, and payment processes to ensure a smooth client experience.
* Continually manage expectations of partners, senior management, and internal departments through clear, concise communication and reporting.
**Industry Engagement & Partner Relations**
* Cultivate and maintain relationships across the Los Angeles entertainment and events community, including studio and network event teams, agency partners, production companies, and experiential and brand agencies, to drive private event sales.
* Represent Meow Wolf at industry events and networking opportunities to promote private event capabilities and establish new partnerships.
* Develop and evolve vendor relationships within the events community to maintain the highest quality partner offerings for event clients.
**Sales Operations & Reporting**
* Oversee administrative needs for private events, including calendar management, contracts, holds, and follow-ups.
* Provide clear and concise communication to stakeholders to ensure all private event details are executed flawlessly.
* Continually monitor sales metrics and provide actionable insights to improve performance and drive growth.
* Deliver regular reports of sales calls, pipeline, and sales pace, including analysis and evaluation of KPIs and ROI to meet revenue goals.
**Event Coordination Support**
* Coordinate logistics for confirmed private events, ensuring exceptional client communication and satisfaction.
* Oversee post-event follow-ups, including gathering feedback, processing invoices, and generating repeat business opportunities.
* Manage administrative needs for events, including placing holds, updating internal calendars, managing contracts, and processing payments.
* Lead and coordinate private event operations as needed.
**Marketing & Brand Awareness**
* Promote awareness of Meow Wolf Los Angeles through formal presentations and personal sales calls while ensuring Meow Wolf brand values, culture, and artistic vision are top of mind.
* Research and monitor Meow Wolf brand representation on all distribution channels and listings to maintain optimal brand standards and content. Ensure content is accurate and updated in a timely manner as additions/changes are made.
**Other Duties**
* Support onsite and offsite sales initiatives, activations, and promotions throughout the year.
* Perform other related duties as assigned.

**Job Requirements**
* 5+ years of event sales experience selling and producing large-scale events for entertainment industry clients, including studios, streamers, networks, music labels, talent and management agencies, and major brands.
* Established relationships with event decision-makers at these companies are required to be considered for this role.
* Demonstrated track record of closing high-value event business, including premieres, wrap parties, launch events, activations, and corporate celebrations.
* Experience giving in person multimedia presentations to groups of 5+.
* Experience with tight and aggressive deadlines and ability to close business deals.
* Experience managing multiple channels and initiatives simultaneously.
* Deep familiarity with the Los Angeles entertainment, arts, and events landscape.
* Flexible and able to make changes quickly, efficiently and effectively as needed.
* Self-motivated and patient with yourself and others.
* Must be receptive to direction and perform well within a team environment.
* Able to assist in the management of multiple tasks and possess the intuition to make calm, solution-driven decisions in a fast-paced work environment.
