Senior Events Manager

Presley Paige Fayetteville, Arkansas

We are looking for an experienced event professional who can immediately bring leadership, organization, and operational expertise to the Presley Paige Events team, with the potential to grow into a broader department leadership role as the business continues to scale.

The ideal candidate has:

5+ years of professional experience in event production, event management, experiential marketing, event design, large-scale installations, hospitality events, or a related field2+ years of experience directly managing people , with demonstrated ability to lead, develop, delegate to, and hold a team accountableExperience overseeing multiple events or projects simultaneously from planning through executionDemonstrated experience building and managing complex production schedules, staffing plans, project timelines, and deadlinesExperience managing event or project budgets, including labor costs, outside vendors, rentals, transportation, and other operational expensesExperience making staffing and resource decisions based on workload, project requirements, timelines, and budgetStrong understanding of event operations, including production, load-in, installation, event execution, strike, and post-event processesExperience creating or improving operational systems and processes as a team or organization growsAbility to identify capacity constraints and proactively recommend additional staffing, resources, or operational changesStrong leadership presence with the ability to provide clear direction in high-pressure, fast-moving environmentsExcellent communication skills and the ability to coordinate effectively across Sales, Creative, Operations, leadership, vendors, and clientsStrong visual judgment and attention to detail, with the ability to evaluate whether an installation successfully reflects an approved mockup, creative concept, and client expectationAn understanding of scale, proportion, color, placement, spacing, balance, and overall presentationConfidence identifying when execution does not meet the intended creative or quality standard and directing the team toward a solutionAbility to balance exceptional client service and creative execution with operational realities, team capacity, and profitabilityA proactive, solutions-oriented leadership style and the ability to anticipate challenges before they impact an event or the teamExperience managing hourly, part-time, seasonal, freelance, or production-based teams strongly preferredExperience with event design, décor, fabrication, experiential activations, large-scale installations, rentals, or other visually driven environments strongly preferredFlexibility to work nontraditional event hours when necessary, including some nights, weekends, and early morningsSomeone successful in this role will demonstrate the ability to move beyond managing individual events and begin thinking strategically about the department as a whole, including:

Team structure and future hiring needsDepartment capacity and workload planningOperational systems and scalabilityLabor efficiency and event profitabilityTeam development and retentionQuality standards and consistencyCross-functional collaborationLong-term growth of the Events divisionWe are looking for someone who can lead the operation we have today while helping us build the Events department we will need tomorrow.

Qualifications and Required Skills:Valid US Driver’s LicenseWorking mobile smartphone with GPS capabilities and dataComfortably use common technology i.e. online calendars and chat programsMust be able to lift at least 60lbsMust be able to get in and out delivery vanMust be comfortable on laddersFlexible availability (including nights and weekends)Ability to prioritize tasksEffective CommunicationWillingness to learnJob Type: full-time

This position will report directly to the Owner. There is a 90-day trial period for all positions at Presley Paige. Any position with Presley Paige requires flexibility in schedule, attention to detail, and the ability to work as a team.
