Role Description

Freight brokers put an incredible amount of trust in Highway and that trust will be extended to you. Highway is looking for a Senior Events Manager to work directly for the SVP, Marketing to lead the event lifecycle and execution of marketing campaigns that drive brand awareness, lead generation, and customer engagement. The ideal candidate is an analytical thinker and creative problem solver with experience in B2B marketing, social media strategy, and events management. You will work cross-functionally with product, sales, customer experience, and content teams to deliver impactful activations that generate measurable results.

Your role:

Work directly with the SVP, Marketing to strategize and execute on customer-facing and appreciation events, trade shows, webinars, conferences, and employee based events across a dynamic organization.Oversee Highway’s User Summit through pre-planning, organization, to execution and ROI tracking.Plan and manage in-person and virtual events, including logistics, promotions, and speaker coordination, comfortably interfacing with internal and external stakeholders.Secure speaking engagements and prepare speakers with key messaging and briefing materials tailored to the relevant audience and event type.Oversee event communications, from pre-event promotion to post-event follow-ups.Strategize and create event content, including presentations, discussion points, emails, social media posts, and landing pages.Lead webinar strategy, managing topics, speakers, and audience engagement.Analyze event performance, track relevant KPIs, and provide insights for continuous improvement.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field required.5 - 7 years of experience with tradeshow, customer facing events, and webinar management.Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple events and projects simultaneously.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, highly skilled in writing and creating unique content for campaigns.Experience with Zoom Webinars, HubSpot, Salesforce, Monday.com highly preferred.Ability to problem-solve on the fly and ensure a seamless event experience pre, during and post events.Self-motivated and collaborative, able to work independently and autonomously while coordinating with cross-functional teams.
