Senior Lead Marketing Events Manager

The Senior Lead Event Marketing Manager plays a key role within Lumen that will work as part of the Strategic Corporate events team to create internal events and key industry events. You will work directly with stakeholders across the organization to align event needs with Lumen's objectives. • Execute a consistent/predictable planning and event execution process. What We Look For in a Candidate • Bachelor's degree in event management, marketing, communications, business or a related field (preferred) • A minimum of 8?years of Event Planning/Sponsorship experience • Experienced in working directly with senior executives as a strong collaborator and partner • Demonstrated and consistent excellence in leading in-person and virtual events, comfortable to adjust in the moment and go above and beyond • Ability to work independently taking ownership over event execution • Experience working collaboratively on a team and cross functionally with other departments • Understanding of marketing strategy and planning • Skilled communicator with great interpersonal skills • Meticulous attention to detail and highly organized • This position can be based anywhere in the United States and will require some domestic and international travel (up to 25% of the time). As with the pay range variety that's based on the region of a country, specific offers are determined by various factors such as experience, education, skills, certifications and other business needs.
