Senior Production Technician, Conference And Event Services

Oversee and manage the production of events and conferences held at Duke University.
Collaborate with event planners and other team members to develop and execute event production plans.
Lead a team of production technicians and provide guidance and support as needed.
Coordinate with vendors to secure necessary equipment and services for events.
Set up and operate audio, video, and lighting equipment for events.
Troubleshoot technical issues and provide solutions in a timely manner.
Ensure that all event spaces are properly set up and all equipment is functioning correctly.
Maintain inventory of production equipment and supplies, and coordinate repairs and replacements as needed.
Communicate effectively with clients and provide exceptional customer service throughout the event planning process.
Continuously evaluate and improve event production processes to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while operating equipment and handling event logistics.
Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in event production technology.
Train and mentor junior production technicians.
Assist with budgeting and cost management for events.
Other duties as assigned by the Conference and Event Services team.
