Senior Specialist - Event Planning - $15 to $26 per HOUR

The position of Senior Event Planning Specialist at Microchip Technology is a pivotal role within the global events team. • Bachelor's degree in marketing, advertising, communications or related field • 3+ years of relevant experience or master's degree with 5+ years experience • Experience working in corporate marketing, communications or high-technology B2B environments • Prior experience with Cvent or Aventri and ON24 or similar webinar platforms • Knowledge of inventory management tools desired • Proficiency in MS Office including Teams, SharePoint, Word, Excel and PowerPoint • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Strong grammar skills • Ability to present professionally to all levels • Experience handling multiple projects accurately • Effective time management and task prioritization • Flexibility dealing with tight deadlines and rapid changes • Position not eligible for immigration sponsorship • Travel time 0%-25% • Physical ability to sit, stand, walk, drive, and fly • Ability to hear, see, talk, work alone and with others
