Servers (Restaurant & Event)

Cedarbrook Country Club is looking for part-time restaurant AND event servers to join our team! WEEKENDS ARE REQUIRED!!

We are looking for individuals who are passionate about the hospitality industry and enjoy working in fast-paced environments. The primary job of the server is to provide exceptional food and beverage service to our members and guests!

Pay is $16-$20 an hour + tips!

Restaurant Server Responsibilities:

Greets our members and guests with enthusiasm and professionalism.
Seats members and guests as needed.
Encourages members to take part in our upcoming events and food and beverage specials.
Extensive menu and beverage knowledge.
Participate in on-going training and development sessions.
Accurately takes food and beverage orders in a timely manner using our POS system NorthStar.
Assist in running food and beverages to tables as needed.
Performs food & beverage preparation duties such as preparing condiments, brewing coffee and ensuring workstations are stocked and organized.
Maintains server-side work and creates a safe work environment.
Assist in bussing and overall cleaning as needed.
Other responsibilities as deemed necessary by the Food and Beverage Management team.

Banquet/Event Server Responsibilities:

Works closely with banquet captain(s) for assignments each day.
Set up for functions to include setting room based on floor plan, setting silverware, folding napkins, polishing glassware etc.
Service to include taking orders, filling drinks, clearing tables, running food, etc.
Set up for AM or PM break stations that include coffee, tea, snacks, beverages, etc.
Assists as needed with event room set up according to meal period and table needs.
Performs food & beverage preparation duties such as preparing condiments, brewing coffee and ensuring workstations are stocked and organized.
Removes dishes, glasses, silverware or other items from tables/counter tops and takes them to the kitchen.
Takes into consideration any special request and dietary issues made by the guest.
Offers warm and sincere welcome/farewell for all guests.
Interacts with staff and guests in a professional manner, assisting other departments as needed.
Ensures final quality check on food and beverage items prior to serving guests
Monitors assigned tables for customer satisfaction, quality and additional service.
Addresses any guest issue promptly and with high concern.
Provides assistance to other event and restaurant staff as needed.
Maintains constant awareness of any safety issues.

Qualifications:

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must be RAMP certified (or will get RAMP certified within a month of starting employment).
Positive and Friendly attitude.
Excellent communication skills.
Strong customer service mindset.
Sense of urgency and works well in fast-paced environments.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Thrive in a team-based environment.
Ability to multitask.
Ability to handle large volume.
Ability to be on feet for 8-12 hours per day.
Ability to work holidays and weekends.
Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds.
Serving experience is preferred.
