Planned Elegance is hiring Set Up & Tear Down Crew Members for wedding and event décor setup and cleanup. This is a part-time supplemental income position only. Do not apply if you are not available on weekends. Most events take place on Fridays and Saturdays, with occasional Sundays. Men and women are both welcome to apply.

Job Responsibilities

Assist with loading and unloading décor, rentals, and event supplies
Set up linens, centerpieces, signage, candles, and other décor items based on event plans
Install backdrops, arches, flower walls, and other decorative pieces
Follow setup instructions carefully and work efficiently as part of a team
Help keep supplies organized throughout setup and cleanup
Tear down décor and event items at the end of the event
Pack items carefully for transport back to storage
Assist with basic cleanup of décor-related items before leaving the venue

This position does not include

Wedding planning
Client communication
Vendor management
Timeline management
Running rehearsals or coordinating the ceremony

This is strictly a setup and tear-down support role.

Requirements

Must be reliable and punctual
Must be available for 1–3 weekends per month during busy wedding season
Must have reliable transportation
Must be willing to travel within 70 miles of Youngstown
Must be able to lift, carry, push, and move event items safely
Must be comfortable being on your feet for long periods of time
Must be able to follow direction and work well with others
Event, wedding, floral, decorating, warehouse, moving, or setup experience is a plus, but not required

Physical Requirements

Ability to lift at least 40–50 pounds
Ability to bend, squat, climb small ladders if needed, and stand for extended periods
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and complete physical tasks efficiently

Schedule

Part-time, as needed
1–3 weekends per month during busy wedding season
Hours vary depending on the event and may include daytime setup and late-night teardown

Ideal CandidateThis position is best for someone who is dependable, hardworking, physically capable, and looking for extra income. You must be willing to work weekends and be comfortable with hands-on event setup and cleanup.
