Evaluation Period: Annual performance evaluations if the student works the entire academic year. If the student works one semester, the performance evaluation will be completed after that semester
Purpose of Position: Assist with planning and promotion of events in support of the School of Business and Communication.
Duties and Responsibilities:
This co-op entails public relations, marketing, and communications.Provide support to faculty with the preparation and execution of Department sponsored events.Open to all MajorsCollaborate and communicate with faculty, staff, students, and alumni to complete assigned projects in a timely manner.Assist Department with the High School Business Plan Competition, Emerging Leaders: Women in Business Event, Alumni Professional Development Luncheon, and other events and meetings as necessary.Other duties as assignedSkills/Attributes:

Currently enrolled at Mount St. Joseph UniversityMust be Federal Work Study eligibleMatriculating in a baccalaureate degree programMust have successfully completed or currently enrolled in CED 220.At least junior standing with demonstrated communication, writing, and computer skills, including Microsoft Office products, Social Media, Adobe Creative Cloud, etc.Previous knowledge and use of social media and marketing and experience with Adobe Design programs a plus.Ability to work on own initiative, independently, and meet deadlinesWell organized, punctual, and reliableMay have to work occasional weekends and evening hours, as needed.Additional Expectations
Must be able to work some nights and weekends, and to travel occasionally for work
Must have valid driver's license and regular access to a vehicle
