South Asian Wedding Planner & Vendor Relations Manager

About the Opportunity

We’re growing and looking for an experienced South Asian Wedding Planner to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who has extensive experience planning Pakistani, Indian, and other cultural weddings and understands the unique logistics, traditions, and expectations that come with multi-day celebrations.

We’re looking for someone who has hands-on experience coordinating events such as Mehndi, Mayun (Mayo), Haldi, Sangeet, Nikah, Baraat, Shaadi, Walima, Hindu wedding ceremonies, and receptions, and who has built strong relationships with trusted vendors throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth area.

In addition to serving clients in Texas, this role comes with an expansion opportunity to support the development of destination weddings at a luxury beachfront hotel in South Carolina through a combination of remote planning and/or event coordination as needed.

What You’ll Do

Plan and execute luxury South Asian weddings from initial consultation through wedding weekend.
Coordinate multi-day wedding events and manage all planning timelines.
Build and maintain relationships with top-tier Dallas-Fort Worth wedding vendors.
Recommend vendors based on quality, reliability, and budget.
Negotiate pricing, contracts, and vendor packages to maximize value for clients.
Manage décor, catering, entertainment, photography, videography, transportation, rentals, beauty teams, and specialty vendors.
Oversee wedding-day logistics and vendor coordination.
Create exceptional client experiences while maintaining organization and attention to detail.
Assist in building preferred vendor partnerships and wedding operations for a luxury beachfront hotel in South Carolina.

Qualifications

2+ years of professional wedding planning experience.
Extensive experience with Pakistani and Indian weddings.
Deep understanding of South Asian wedding traditions and customs.
Established network of Dallas-Fort Worth wedding vendors.
Strong knowledge of local vendor pricing and current market rates.
Proven ability to negotiate vendor contracts and pricing.
Exceptional organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple events and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with luxury weddings, hotels, or resorts.
Experience planning destination weddings.
Existing relationships with premium venues and vendors throughout Texas.
Multilingual skills/languages (Urdu, Hindi, Punjabi, Gujarati, etc.) are a plus but not required.
