Special Event Manager

Sonjé Productions is a full time event management company. We produce large scale events for private and public companies. This is a full-time on-site role located in Baltimore, MD for a Special Event Manager. The candidate should be able to devise and execute efficient event plans, take ownership of events, come up with creative event ideas, and have strong communication and negotiation skills. Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Hospitality Management, Public Relations, or a related field • 3+ years of experience in event planning and management • Demonstrated expertise in event planning and project management • Ability to manage multiple events simultaneously and handle stress and pressure • Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills • Experience with social media, marketing, and advertising • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills • Ability to work as part of a team and manage cross-functional teams effectively • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends • Ability to manage a team of 5 or more
