Special Event Manager

The National Pediatric Cancer Foundation (NPCF) is a nonprofit organization committed to funding research aimed at eradicating childhood cancer. Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role located in Tampa, FL for a Special Event Manager. The Special Event Manager will oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of events aimed at raising funds and increasing awareness for pediatric cancer research. Qualifications • Event Planning, Event Management, and Logistics Coordination experience • Strong skills in Budget Management, Vendor Coordination, and Sponsorship Acquisition • Marketing and Promotion expertise, including experience with Social Media, Event Campaigns, and Donor Engagement • Exceptional Written and Verbal Communication, Negotiation, and Relationship-Building skills • Strong Organizational, Project Management, and Problem-Solving skills • Proficiency in tools such as event management software, Microsoft Office Suite, and marketing platforms is a plus • Bachelor's degree in Event Planning, Marketing, Nonprofit Management, or a related field • Experience in nonprofit fundraising or working in a cause-driven organization is highly desirable
