The Special Events Assistant will play a vital role in ensuring the success of our events by providing exceptional hospitality and support. Duties: • Welcome and greet guests with warmth, charm, and a welcoming attitude • Coordinate and host celebrations and events, ensuring a smooth flow of activities and entertainment • Provide information and directions to attendees regarding event schedules, activities, and facilities • Encourage guest participation and ensure everyone feels included and valued • Assist event organizers with logistics, including distributing event materials, coordinating vendor services, and managing event equipment • Coordinate seating arrangements, manage guest lists, and assist with seating guests if required • Ensure that event spaces are clean, organized, and properly set up before and during events • Ensure all safety protocols are followed upon opening and closing of the venue/event • Maintain a positive and engaging atmosphere by engaging with guests and encouraging participation in activities or entertainment • Capture pictures and short videos during the event to share with our Social Media team. Qualifications: • Proven experience in hospitality, customer service, or event-related roles • Friendly and outgoing personality with a passion for providing exceptional customer service • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and time management skills • Ability to handle high-pressure situations with composure and professionalism • Flexibility to work irregular hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required by event schedules • Physical fitness to stand, walk, and engage with guests for extended periods • Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise; • Knowledgeable in Microsoft systems, Google Workspace, and Zoom application • Must be 21 years of age and above We have events that are 5-, 7-, and 11-hour events and pay is between $20-$22.50 an hour.
