This role is responsible for creating, implementing, operating, and budgeting for all Chamber events, including new and existing events that align with the organization’s mission and goals. The Special Events Coordinator will collaborate closely with City staff, attend City meetings as relevant, and work with the Volunteer Coordinator to support volunteer engagement for events.. ● Manage and maintain the event database(s) for efficient organization and tracking. ● Partner with the Marketing Coordinator for press releases, marketing materials, online and social media promotion of events. ● Attend relevant City meetings (ERIG, PARAB) and maintain open communication with City staff as necessary for event planning.
